Not really sure what to make of this. Possibly a left over decoration from Halloween (or an omen of the Mayan end of the world :-)). In front of a shop in Louisiana, MO.

A colorful plant, a succulent I believe, in the Rock Garden area of the Missouri Botanical Garden. I’m not sure of the exact name but I suspect it is some variety of yucca or a closely related plant. The green and yellow leaves stand out among the other rock garden plants and the small “hairs” add interest as well. This plant is just a bit larger than a basketball.
