Hoped to get out and take some new photos this weekend but a combination of bad weather and trying to kick either the flu or a sinus infection kept me in the house. While my motivation level is still lagging I took the time to process this photo of some reflections from downtown St. Louis that was taken a couple of weeks ago during a photo walk.

Transcaspian Urial Photo, posted 2013-01-27
The Transcaspian Urial is a wild sheep, similar to big horn sheep found in the U.S. although the Urial tends to stay at lower, vegetated elevations rather than in the rockier mountain areas. It feeds on grass and leaves. The males have curled horns, again similar to bighorn sheep, while the females have shorter, relatively straight horns like those in this image.
