    If it were able to talk, what tales could this old door tell?  Located along the Illinois River in Pere Marquette State Park, IL, this door offers so many details of interest — the surrounding rough stone walls; the long, rusty strap hinges and one empty hinge pin; the barely visible sagging frame; what appear to be holes, some looking random, some ordered; the rotting boards; the dark asking us to explore what is beyond.  Has it been flooded?
