Found this guy on the mirror of my truck this morning when I left for work. While it was totally unexpected, he managed to stay on the mirror for the entire trip. Tender Houses – 2015
In the days when lift bridges and draw bridges were regularly raised and lowered to allow river traffic to pass each bridge had one or more tender houses where workers watched for boats and controlled the bridge. These tender houses are located in Chicago.

On the Road Again (well, sort of :-) )
We were finally able to get the new fifth wheel out for a (really short) shakedown run over the weekend and find out all of the things we need for travel but don’t have (or can’t find). Weather was nice (a rare thing for the St. Louis area in June 2015), trailer is roomy and comfortable, had some time totally away from work and technology.
