A trip to the Missouri Botanical Garden this morning offered the opportunity to capture these images of “wildlife” that call the Garden their home.
Mallard duckling that was swimming near its parents but at the same time moving away from them until mom herded it back.

This frog was relaxing on a lily during of the early hours when there weren’t many Garden visitors.
A little later in the day, this frog rests, just barely above the surface, but stays ready to hide if a predator gets too close
